TJEE

The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). This examination serves as the gateway for aspiring students seeking admission to various professional degree programmes in Engineering, Technology, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical, and other professional courses in institutions across Tripura. The TJEE offers admission across three main groups: Group-A for Engineering and Technological courses (PCM), Group-B for Veterinary, Agricultural, Fisheries, and Paramedical courses (PCB), and Group-C for students who wish to appear for all subjects. The total number of seats varies across different courses and institutions, with reservations provided as per state government norms for SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Wards of Ex-servicemen (ESM). The examination is conducted through the Optical Marks Recognition (OMR) system with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in English and Bengali mediums. Students who qualify based on merit are eligible to participate in online counselling for seat allocation in various participating institutions throughout Tripura.
