About NIPER JEE
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination (NIPER JEE) is a national-level examination conducted annually by individual NIPER institutes. This year, NIPER Guwahati is responsible for conducting NIPER JEE 2025 for admissions into M.S. (Pharm.), M.Pharm., M.Tech., MBA (Pharm.), and Ph.D. programs in Science, Pharmacy, Business Administration, and Technology.
NIPER JEE is an online-based exam consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 150 marks for master's programs and 170 MCQs for 85 marks for Ph.D. programs. Each question carries 0.5 marks, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
For Ph.D. candidates, in addition to the MCQ-based exam, there will be a personal interview carrying 15 marks. More than 6000 candidates apply for this exam every year.
