About NATA
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2025 is a crucial entrance examination for students aspiring to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree in India. Conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), this examination assesses candidates' aptitude for the field of architecture through a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive skills, visual perception, aesthetic sensitivity, logical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities. The examination is designed to identify students who possess the innate abilities required to excel in architectural education and practice.
The NATA examination has two parts, with Part A being an offline test assessing your drawing and composition skills, and Part B being a computer-based test with MCQ and NCQ modes of questions. The test is conducted both in English and Hindi.
Some of the top participating institutes for NATA include the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi and Vijayawada, CEPT University in Ahmedabad, BIT Mesra, Jamila Millia Islamia, etc. Additionally, several National Institutes of Technology and Indian Institutes of Technology also accept NATA scores for admission into B.Arch.
