About MAT
Management Aptitude Test is a national level entrance test conducted for the admission of students for courses like MBA and allied programs. It is conducted by the All India Management Association(AIMA) and is one of the most popular entrance exam in India for Management Studies. Students who passed MAT exam are eligible to seek admission in over 600 business schools in India.
MAT exam in approved as a national level Test by Ministry of education in 2003. MAT exam is conducted 4 times in a year usually in the months of February, May, September and December. MAT exam is conducted in multiple formats which includes paper based Test (PBT), computer- based test or paper based test and computer based Test.
MAT exam consists of 5 core areas comprising of 200 questions with 150 minutes' duration. Some of the top colleges accepting MAT scores for admissions are Institute of Management Technology(IMT) Ghaziabad, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) Bangalore, Christ University Bangalore and Amity Business School.
