Jharkhand PECE

Jharkhand PECE (Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination) is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). This examination serves as a gateway for aspiring students who wish to pursue diploma programmes in engineering and non-engineering fields across various government and private polytechnic institutions in Jharkhand. The exam is designed for candidates who have completed their 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Every year, thousands of students appear for this offline examination, which is conducted in pen and paper mode. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes, with a maximum score of 150 marks. The question paper comprises 150 multiple-choice questions divided equally amongst three core subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam is offered in both Hindi and English languages to accommodate candidates from different backgrounds. JCECEB offers admission to various diploma courses through PECE, including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Technology, and Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
