The Jain Entrance Test (JET) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by Jain University (Deemed-to-be University) for admission to its undergraduate Bachelor of Technology programs. This mandatory examination serves as the gateway for aspiring engineering students seeking admission to various specialisations offered by the institution. The exam is designed to assess candidates' aptitude and knowledge in core subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, along with English, Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. JET is conducted in an online proctored mode, allowing candidates to take the examination from the comfort of their homes. The unique feature of this examination is its remote proctoring system, which eliminates the need for physical examination centres. Candidates must have proper desktop or laptop computers with webcam and microphone facilities, along with a stable internet connection, to appear for the test. The exam comprises 180 objective-type multiple-choice questions that need to be completed within 150-180 minutes. Jain University is recognised as a prominent institution with NAAC A++ accreditation and has been accorded the status of Institution of Eminence by the Government of India. The university offers various B.Tech specialisations, making JET a crucial step for students aspiring to pursue engineering education.
