IPMAT

The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is an aptitude test conducted annually by the Indian Institute of Management Indore for admission to their prestigious 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). This national-level entrance examination serves as the gateway for students aspiring to pursue management education directly after completing their Class XII studies. The IPMAT enables candidates to secure admission in the 5-year integrated programme in the field of management, offering a unique pathway to management education without requiring an undergraduate degree first. The examination is designed to assess students' quantitative and verbal abilities through a well-structured format. Currently, ten institutes in India accept IPMAT scores, including IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIFT Kakinada, IIM Ranchi, IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, NIRMA University, NALSAR Hyderabad, TAPMI Manipal, and NICMAR University. The IPMAT exam consists of an aptitude test with three sections: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. The selection of a student in the IPM program is based on the student's overall performance in the IPMAT exam and the Personal Interview.
