The International English Olympiad (IEO) is a globally recognised competitive examination designed to assess students' proficiency in the English language. Conducted by the Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) and various other international organisations including the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), the International English Olympiad serves as a platform for students from Classes 1 to 12 to demonstrate their linguistic abilities, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension skills, and overall command of the English language. This school-level examination is conducted annually across multiple countries, making it a truly international assessment. The International English Olympiad aims to encourage students to develop strong communication skills, enhance their reading and writing capabilities, and foster a deeper appreciation for the English language. The examination tests various aspects of English including word and structure knowledge, reading comprehension, spoken and written expression, and logical reasoning through language.
