GMAT Focus Edition

The Graduate Management Admission Test Focus Edition is the latest iteration of the world-renowned standardised assessment designed and administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Launched in November 2023, this next-generation exam represents a significant evolution from the traditional GMAT, offering a streamlined and more focused evaluation of skills essential for success in graduate business programmes worldwide. The Graduate Management Admission Test Focus Edition is a computer-adaptive test conducted at international and national levels, primarily targeting candidates seeking admission to postgraduate management programmes such as MBA, Master's in Finance, Master's in Management, and other business-related postgraduate courses. The exam is accepted by over 2,400 business schools and universities across 110 countries, making it one of the most globally recognised business school entrance examinations. The total score ranges from 205 to 805, replacing the traditional 200-800 scale of the previous GMAT version. Top participating institutes include prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, London Business School, INSEAD, Indian School of Business (ISB), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), and hundreds of other globally ranked business schools. The Graduate Management Admission Test Focus Edition primarily tests three core areas: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights, eliminating the standalone Analytical Writing Assessment that existed in the previous version. The exam emphasises data literacy and integrated reasoning skills, reflecting the evolving demands of modern business education and practice.
