COMEDK UGET

COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Under Graduate Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in private unaided colleges across Karnataka. The examination is organised by COMEDK, an autonomous merit determination authority established by Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation. COMEDK serves as the gateway for admission to approximately 150 engineering colleges and offers around 20,000+ seats annually. The consortium was established in 2004-05 and has been conducting entrance examinations for over 20 years, earning recognition from the Hon'ble Supreme Court as a model examination system. The examination follows a computer-based test (CBT) format and is conducted across 200+ cities in 400+ centres throughout India. COMEDK UGET provides a fair, transparent, and non-exploitative testing procedure to determine merit-based admissions through a single common entrance test followed by centralised online counselling.
