The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). This computer-based test is designed to assess the aptitude and analytical skills of candidates seeking admission to MBA and PGDM programmes across India. The exam serves as a gateway to numerous B-schools affiliated with AIMS, as well as several other institutions that accept ATMA scores for their management programmes.
ATMA is conducted multiple times a year, typically five to six times, providing candidates with ample opportunities to appear for the test and improve their scores. The examination is computer-based and tests candidates across three major sections: Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, and Quantitative Skills. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours, with each section allocated 60 minutes. The exam carries a total of 150 marks, with each correct answer awarding one mark.
Top participating institutes accepting AIMS Test for Management Admissions scores include PUMBA (Pune University); Goa Institute of Management, and N.L.
