The AIBE 2026 Exam will be conducted through offline (PBT) mode in the fourth week of December 2026. AIBE (All India Bar Examination) is a certification exam regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for law graduates willing to start the practice of their profession as lawyers. The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is your gateway to practising law in India.
If you've completed your law degree and are enrolled with a State Bar Council, you must pass this examination to obtain your Certificate of Practice (CoP). The exam will be offline with 100 multiple-choice questions from 19 law subjects. The duration is 3 hours. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
