University of Geneva Excellence Master Fellowships 2026 is an opportunity offered by the Faculty of Science, University of Geneva, to Master's applicants. Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID). Step 3: Scroll down and click 'Apply'. Step 4: Access the option to create an account via the login option and register. Step 5: After successful registration, login with valid credentials and proceed with the application.
The selected fellows will receive a grant amounting from CHF 10,000 to CHF 15,000 per annum which includes no teaching duties. Note: The fellowship is awarded for 1 year and is extendable for the regular duration of the chosen Master's program (3-4 semesters) given that the applicant is academically doing well at the end of his/her 1st semester of studies.
The following documents have to be attached with the application as a single PDF: Scanned copy of the national identity card or passport of the applicant. Scanned copy of the UNIGE card or, if the applicant is not a UNIGE student, the mail of the central administration named "UNIGE-Candidature: Depot de votre dossier" (proof you have started the matriculation process) is required. An updated Curriculum Vitae not exceeding 2 pages. Copies of the transcript of exams taken during the term of the Bachelor's degree, along with all grades. A motivation letter by the applicant describing his/her specific scientific interests and motivation to pursue a Master of Science program at the University of Geneva. Letters of reference from 2 professors (preferably sent by them directly to Excellence-Master-Sciences@unige.ch) Any other relevant document, like results of GRE (General requirement examination), TOEFL or other language tests.
