State Technical Scholarship for ST Students, Nagaland 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland to ST students of the state. The scholarship aims to assist deserving students pursuing higher education with financial assistance. The selected candidates will receive an annual book grant.
ST students pursuing technical education
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit of their last qualifying examination.
Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID). Step 3: Navigate to 'State Technical Scholarship' and click 'Apply'. Step 4: Click on the option to register and enter your Aadhaar/bank-linked mobile number to receive an OTP. Step 5: Enter the OTP and click 'Verify OTP'. Step 6: Fill in the required fields and click 'Register'. Step 7: Fill in the required information, upload the necessary documents and submit the application. Note:- Students must submit the hard copy of the application to the office of the Department of Technical Education after online submission to the following address:- Directorate of Technical Education Below New Secretariat, Nagaland, Kohima-797004, Thizama Road
Selected candidates will receive a scholarship in the form of an annual book grant. The scholarship will be awarded to students for a maximum of: 3 years for diploma programs 4 years for degree programs (BE/B.Tech) 2 years for postgraduate programs (ME/MTech) Note: Candidates must have an Aadhaar-seeded bank account to receive the benefits through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Aadhaar card Caste certificate Admission fee receipt Income certificate of the parent Indigenous inhabitant certificate Front page of the bank passbook Marksheet and admit card of the previous academic course Passport-sized photograph of the applicant with a clear background Institute verification/bonafide certificate signed by the head of the institution Note:- The documents must be in JPG/JPEG/PDF format and be less than 2MB.
Answer
This scholarship only offers an annual book grant for the candidates for the duration of their course. There is no separate grant.
