Sports Global Excellence Scholarship 2026-27 is an opportunity offered by the University of Gloucestershire (UOG) for students pursuing undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) taught programs at the university. This scheme aims to support high-performing student-athletes who wish to combine their high-performance sports with their studies. The selected students will receive a tuition fee waiver of up to £7,500.
UG/PG taught applicants
Candidates will be selected based on their fulfilment of the selection criteria. The scholarship award recipients will be determined by a dedicated awarding committee. All decisions made by the awarding committee will be considered final.
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.) Step 3: Read the details carefully, navigate to the 'Next' button at the bottom of the page and click on it. Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the required documents and click on the next button. Step 5: After carefully reviewing the entered details, click the 'Submit' button. Note:- Applicants can only submit one scholarship application in any academic year. If a student has previously applied and been unsuccessful, the scholarship application will be rejected.
Selected candidates will receive the benefits as follows:- 1. Scholarship: Course Scholarship Amount Postgraduate taught degree £5,000 Undergraduate taught degree 1st year (Level 4) 2nd year (Level 5) 3rd year (Level 6) Total £2,500 £2,500 £2,500 £7,500 2.
