Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation Nursing Scholarship 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the Sasakawa-India Leprosy Foundation (S-ILF) for B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) & GNM students residing in self-settled leprosy colonies. The selected students will receive financial support for education.
Students residing in self-settled leprosy colonies & pursuing nursing studies in India
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in the last board examination. Shortlisted students will be called for a personal interview. The selection committee will then select the top candidates for the scholarship. If a selected candidate declines the scholarship, the offer will be extended to the next eligible candidate on the waiting list.
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship using the steps listed below:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button. Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and enter the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID) Step 3: Click the respective option for Nursing Scholarship and access the registration link. Step 4: Fill in the details and click 'Register'. Step 5: Fill in the required details, attach the relevant documents, and submit the application.
The selected students will receive monthly/annual financial support.
Photocopies of: Passport-size photographs of the applicant Birth certificate or other proof of date of birth Marksheets of Class 10 and 12 board exams Leprosy certificate of parent(s) which may include a treatment certificate, District Leprosy Officer certificate, or Disability certificate mentioning Hansen's disease/leprosy Admission letter/call letter issued by the institute the applicant is applying to Proof of admission in a government-recognised institute (only required if the student has already secured admission) Note:- Applicants who haven't secured admission yet must submit Annexure-I (available on the S-ILF website).
