Post-Matric Scholarship to Lower Income Group Students, Haryana 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana government, to the students of Haryana studying at the post-matriculation level. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from lower-income groups to enable them to complete their education. The selected students will receive maintenance charges, fees & expenses on approved study loans and other benefits.
Students studying at post-matric level
The scholarships for lower income group students will be awarded based on the total annual income from all sources of the parents/guardians of the applicant and not on based on caste.
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID) Step 3: Navigate to 'Student Registration' under the 'Student' tab at the top of the dashboard and click on it. Step 4: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID), a list of members will be displayed, select the name of the applicant and click on the 'Generate OTP' button. Step 5: Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No. and click on the 'Verify OTP' button. Step 6: After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, and cross-check the information. Step 7: Select the Department and College, create a password and click on the 'Register' button. Step 8: Click the login link at the portal and enter your valid credentials to apply for the scholarship. Step 9: Provide all necessary details like course, roll no., eligibility, etc. Step 10: Click on the 'Apply' button to save and submit the application.
The scholarships include maintenance charges, fees and expenses on approved study loans and typing/printing of the thesis. (Agr.), B.Sc., B.A., B.Com 40 27 Corresponding Oriental Language/Fine Arts Courses M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., LL.B., and Third Year Class in Hons. Courses. Corresponding Oriental Language/Fine Arts Courses 50 35 D.Sc., D.Litt., Ph.D 60 45 Diploma/Certificate Courses in Agriculture and Veterinary Science. Hygiene and Public/Health-Course, Sanitary Inspector's Course, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical Courses 40 27 Diploma and Degree courses in Indian Medicine, Teacher's Training and Physical Education: (a) Undergraduate Course (b) Postgraduate Course up to 50 up to 35 B.Sc. (Agr.), B.V.Sc. Diploma Course in Rural Services/Civil and Rural Engineering 50 35 Post-graduate Courses in Agriculture, Post-Diploma Courses in Co-operation/Community Development. 60 45 Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Pharmacy 65 50 Diploma/Certificate Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Medicine and courses for Overseers, Draftsmen, Surveyors, Electricians, Tool Makers and Wireless Operators 65 50 Degree courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Medicine and B.A., M. & S. or other similar courses, Master of Pharmacy 75 60 Trade Courses of I.T.I.'s Ad-hoc grant of INR 20 per month (inclusive of fee) Fees: Scholars will be paid enrolment/ registration, tuition, games, union, library, magazine, medical, examination and such other fees compulsorily payable by the scholar to the Institution or University/Board. Refundable deposits like caution money and security deposit will, however, be excluded. Study Tours: Study tour charges up to a maximum of ₹100 per year limited to the actual expenditure incurred by the students on train/bus fares, tanga charges, etc. will be paid to the scholars studying the professional course, provided that the Head of the Institution certifies that study tour is essential for the scholars for the completion of the course of study. Thesis Typing/Printing Charges: Thesis typing/printing charges up to a maximum of ₹100 will also be paid to the research scholar on the recommendation of the Head of the Institution. Scholars, who are entitled to free board and free lodging, will be paid maintenance charges at the following rates:- Free board and lodging 1/3rd at hosteller's rates Free board 1/3rd at the hosteller's rates plus ₹5 per month Free lodging Full at hosteller's rates minus ₹5 per month
