Students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or research programs at Oxford or Cambridge University
Candidates will be evaluated based on the following three broad dimensions: Soft skills include presentation skills, clarity of thought and presentation, demeanour, and confidence. Hard skills include unique proposition in the field of study, impact on society in general, likely impact on India, consistent academic performance and extra-curricular activities. Financial means: Candidates may be requested to provide details of their financial resources with supporting documents. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of this requirement. (Note:- Financial need is not the primary criterion, it will only be considered during the scholarship selection process.)
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.) Step 3: Navigate to the 'Scholarship' at the top of the dashboard and click on 'Apply for Scholarship'. Step 4: Now click on 'If not already registered, please click here' and fill in the required details to 'Register'. Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.
Selected candidates will receive the following benefits under three categories, tenable at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford:- OCSI K.K. Luthra Memorial Scholarship: ₹4,00,000 OCSI Anita Banerji Memorial Scholarship: ₹4,00,000 OCSI Nirmal Luthra Memorial Scholarship: ₹4,00,000 Additional scholarships: The Emmanuel College Cambridge (India) Scholarship: ₹2,00,000 (tenable at Emmanuel College, Cambridge) One scholarship worth ₹1,00,000 tenable only at St. Hilda's College, Oxford In addition to the financial assistance, the selected candidates shall also receive: Letter of support from OCSI Membership of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India mntoring on request by a member of OCSI
