The NHRC Summer Internship Programme 2026 is an opportunity initiated by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for students pursuing LL.B., LL.M., and PG courses in any discipline of Social Sciences. The merit will be made based on marks calculated out of a total of 100 marks, with a weightage of: 30 marks for Class 12 40 marks for Graduation and 30 marks for a write-up of 300-500 words
Eligible candidates can follow these steps to apply:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below. The selected candidates will receive:- A stipend of ₹12,000 on completion of the internship program Certificate of Participation Prize award for Group Research Project: 1st place - ₹15,000 2nd place - ₹10,000 3rd place - ₹5,000 The top 5 interns from the Book Review and the top 3 from the declamation contest shall be awarded books priced not more than ₹1000. Library and internet facilities Travel allowance for interns from outside Delhi.
Aadhaar Card Academic mark sheets and certificates attested by the Head of the Department, where the student is presently studying Letter of Recommendation (LOR) bearing the name, signature, date & rubber stamp/ seal of the Principal/ HoD/Dean of the Institute where the applicant is studying Self-attested caste certificate (if applicable) Self-attested disability certificate (if applicable) 300-500 words write-up (in the online form) on the topic 'Reason for joining as an Intern in NHRC'
