L'Oreal India invites applications for the L'Oreal For Young Women in Science Program from girls who have passed Class 12 and wish to pursue higher education in science. The scholarships will be awarded to promising young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Selected scholars will receive financial aid to cover college fees for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD studies in any scientific field, including Pure Sciences, Life Sciences, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Cosmetology, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology, and more, at a recognised college or university in India. Established in 2015, the program has supported over 550 young women to study in various scientific fields.

Candidates need to fill out the multi-step online application form. To provide personal details, academic details, documents, references, etc. Subjective questions about the applicant's background and aspirations Students from various science streams will be shortlisted based on merit (performance in Class 10 & 12 board exams), financial needs, and extracurricular activities (science awards, science projects, research papers/articles, etc.). Weightage for each parameter may vary. Top-performing students will be invited to participate in two rounds of evaluation: A telephonic interaction round A final in-person interview conducted by the L'Oreal panel/jury selection committee (hybrid format) Provisional scholarship offer letters will be issued to selected students. After accepting the undertaking, the funds disbursement process is to be initiated.
