INSA Visiting Scientist Programme 2026 is an initiative of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) for scientists and faculty in any R&D organisation, including universities or affiliated colleges in India. Based on the applications received, the selection will be made by the 'Science Promotion Committee.' The decision of the academy will be communicated during April/May in the following year.
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID). Step 3: Navigate to the Application Procedure section and click on the application link. Step 4: Click on the 'New User Registration' button. Step 5: Fill in the required details and click on the 'Register' tab. Step 6: Login with your credentials and proceed with your application.
A consolidated amount of ₹30,000 (maximum) per month will be given to selected scholars to cover their expenses related to boarding, lodging, travel, etc.
