IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program 2026 is an initiative by the International Mathematical Union (IMU) for doctoral degree holders. The objective of this fellowship is to nominate highly motivated, mathematically talented students from developing countries to pursue completion of their doctoral degree in a developing country and in their home country. Nominated PhD students
The Breakout Selection Committee, chaired by the CDC Secretary for Policy, includes three CDC members and one independent representative from South America, Africa, and Europe.
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button. The selected candidates will receive:- $10,000 per year Full tuition fee Accommodation expenses Travel expenses to the host institution (if different from the home country) Basic living expenses (depending on the living costs of the respective country)
