IIM Amritsar Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme 2026-27 is offered by the Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar, to the Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) holders. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship amount of ₹70,000 per month and other benefits.
PhD degree holders
Selection will be based on the following: The applications will be evaluated based on candidates' demonstrated research potential and fit with the research interests of IIM Amritsar faculty members. The shortlisted candidates will be invited to present their research work, research interests, and research proposal before the selection committee. A personal interview will follow the research presentation. The institute will offer a Post-Doctoral Fellowship to the selected candidates.
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below. Step 3: Navigate to the 'Online Application' button on the left side of the page. Step 4: Click on the 'Click Here to Apply' tab. Step 5: Fill in the details in the Registration Form and click on the 'Register' Step 6: If registered, enter the details in the application form. Step 7: Click on the 'Submit' button. Note:- Applicants are required to pay the application fees as follows: For SC and ST: ₹1,000 For Differently abled candidates: ₹1,000 For General, OBC and EWS: ₹1,500
The selected candidate will receive the following awards: A consolidated fellowship of ₹70,000 per month. A contingency grant of ₹30,000 per year. ₹1,75,000 (upper limit) for attending one international conference during their entire tenure with the post-doctoral program (this conference grant can be accessed only after completing the first year of the fellowship program and submitting one joint research paper with IIM Amritsar). Personal medical insurance is covered as per the institute's student welfare policy. Post-doctoral fellows may be provided with teaching opportunities. The institute will pay an honorarium for such activities in addition to the fellowship.
