The DRDO-PXE Chandipur Internship 2026 is offered by Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), Chandipur — a premier establishment under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Final-year B.Tech. students in Engineering disciplines
Students will be selected based on academic merit and performance in an online or in-person interview or interaction.
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps: Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button on the official portal at mgos.jharkhand.gov.in. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using your username and password.) Step 3: Download the application form from the official DRDO portal. Step 4:Fill in the application form completely and accurately (as per Appendix A). Step 5: Collect a request letter from your college Principal or Director (as per Appendix B). This letter should only be provided for deserving and meritorious students. Step 6: Attach all required documents to the completed application. Step 7:Send the complete application by Speed Post or Registered Post to: The Director, Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), Defence R&D Organisation, PO-Chandipur, Dist- Balasore, Odisha – 756025 (Kindly Attn. OIC, HRDC) Note: Kindly write the 'Application for Paid Internship' and the 'Branch Code No.' clearly on the envelope.
Selected students will receive: A monthly stipend of ₹5,000 for the full six-month internship period Hands-on experience in defence research and armament testing at a premier DRDO establishment A certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the internship, including project evaluation and report submission
