Students pursuing a master's degree in the UK
The applicants will be shortlisted for an interview by the British embassies and high commissions.
Eligible candidates can follow these steps to apply:- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID) Step 3: Navigate to the 'Your Country/Territory' option at the bottom of the page and choose 'India', then under the 'Select Your Awards' section, choose 'Scholarship', and click on the 'Search' button. Step 4: Navigate to the 'Apply Today' button. Step 5: Select India from the list of countries, then select 'Chevening Scholarship 2026-2027' and click 'Continue'. Step 6: Fill in the required information to register and click 'Continue'. A verification email will be sent to the provided email address. Step 7: Open the 'Application Portal' and take the eligibility test to get an email for the access code. Step 8: Enter the valid access code to receive an email with the application link on the portal. Step 9: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
Selected candidates will receive the following benefits:- University course tuition fees A monthly stipend Travel costs to and from the UK An arrival allowance A homeward departure allowance The cost of one visa application A travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK
A valid passport/National ID card University transcripts and degrees (undergraduate, postgraduate) An unconditional offer letter from a UK university Names of two referees who know the applicant in a professional or academic capacity English language test score
