Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology of Kashmir

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) was established in 1982 under the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act 1982, with its headquarters located in Shalimar, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The university is a Public institution that operates as a State university dedicated to agricultural education, research, and extension activities in the Kashmir valley. SKUAST-Kashmir holds the prestigious accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
