National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh or NITAP) was established in 2015 as one of the premier technical institutions under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Located in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, the institute operates as a Public institution with complete autonomy in academic and administrative matters. NIT Andhra Pradesh holds a Rank Band of 201 - 300 in the Engineering category of NIRF 2025 rankings.

The institute offers comprehensive academic programmes across Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD levels in various engineering and technology disciplines. The flagship Undergraduate programme is the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered in multiple specialisations, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
