Morning Star School of Nursing Idukki is in the process of developing student exchange programmes to provide students with exposure to different healthcare systems and nursing practices. The institution believes that exchange programmes are valuable for broadening students' perspectives on healthcare delivery, understanding cultural diversity in patient care, and learning innovative nursing practices from different regions. Currently, the institution facilitates clinical training rotations at various hospitals and healthcare facilities across Kerala, giving students exposure to diverse clinical settings and patient populations. These rotations serve as internal exchange programmes, allowing students to experience different specialities, patient care approaches, and healthcare management systems. The institution encourages students to participate in state-level and national-level nursing conferences, workshops, and seminars, which serve as platforms for knowledge exchange with nursing students and professionals from other institutions. Morning Star School of Nursing Idukki is actively working towards establishing formal exchange programmes with other nursing institutions within India, particularly with institutions in different states to expose students to varied healthcare scenarios and regional health challenges. The institution is also exploring opportunities for short-term international clinical exposure programmes that would allow selected students to observe and learn from healthcare practices in other countries, subject to regulatory approvals and partnership agreements.
