Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLU Aurangabad) was established in 2017 under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014, as the second National Law University in Maharashtra. Located in Aurangabad, a historic city known for its rich cultural heritage, the university operates as an autonomous institution under the patronage of the Government of Maharashtra. MNLU Aurangabad has quickly positioned itself as a premier legal education institution in Central India, offering rigorous academic programmes combined with practical legal training. The university is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and holds membership in the Consortium of National Law Universities. MNLU Aurangabad offers comprehensive legal education across multiple levels, including Undergraduate programmes such as B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), Postgraduate programmes including LL.M. with various specialisations, and PhD programmes in Law. Admissions to MNLU Aurangabad are conducted through national-level entrance examinations. The five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes admit students through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), whilst the LL.M. programme admits students through CLAT PG.
