Kalahandi University

Kalahandi University, established in 2009, is a Public State University located in Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi district of Odisha, India. The university was formed by bifurcating Berhampur University to cater to the educational needs of the undivided Kalahandi district. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Kalahandi University operates under the jurisdiction of the Government of Odisha and serves as a unitary, teaching, and affiliating university. The institution is accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade, reflecting its commitment to quality education and academic excellence.
