The Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences Delhi, commonly known as IHBAS, was established in 1993 as a premier psychiatric and mental health institution under the Government of NCT of Delhi. Located in Dilshad Garden, East Delhi, this Public institution operates as an Autonomous body affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences Delhi is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' grade. The institution specializes in mental health sciences, psychiatry, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, and psychiatric social work. IHBAS offers comprehensive academic programs across Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD levels, including MBBS, MD Psychiatry, M.Phil Clinical Psychology, M.Phil Psychiatric Social Work, and various diploma and certificate courses in mental health and allied sciences.
