GMERS Medical College stands for Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society Medical College, established in 2013 under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society, Government of Gujarat. The institution represents a network of government medical colleges spread across Gujarat, aimed at providing quality medical education and healthcare services to the state's population. These colleges are Public institutions under State government management, affiliated with various state universities depending on their location. GMERS Medical Colleges have received recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly Medical Council of India (MCI), and are approved by the Government of Gujarat.
