Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura, commonly known as BNMU, was established in 1992 under the Bihar State Universities Act. Located in Madhepura district of Bihar, this Public State University serves as a prominent institution of higher education in the Kosi-Seemanchal region. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade.
