Ashwini School of Nursing

Ashwini School of Nursing is in the process of developing formal exchange programmes with other nursing institutions within India and potentially internationally. The institution recognises the value of exchange programmes in enriching student learning experiences and providing exposure to different healthcare settings and practices. Currently, the school facilitates short-term clinical postings and observational visits to partner hospitals and healthcare facilities across Maharashtra, allowing students to gain diverse clinical experiences. Students participate in inter-institutional workshops, seminars, and conferences, fostering academic exchange and networking opportunities with peers from other nursing colleges. The school encourages students to attend specialised training programmes and certification courses offered by various healthcare organisations and professional bodies. Faculty exchange is promoted through guest lectures, collaborative teaching arrangements, and joint research initiatives with other institutions. As the institution continues to grow and establish stronger networks, it aims to formalise comprehensive exchange programmes that will provide students with opportunities to study and train at different institutions, both within India and abroad. These initiatives will enhance cross-cultural competencies, expose students to different healthcare delivery models, and broaden their professional horizons in the nursing field.
